Description
There are higher than normal numbers of Northern Harriers still in our area for this time of the year. While looking through my files, I realize I am only seeing females. I’m sure the unseasonably warm temperatures and lack of snow have tempted them to stay as it is still relatively easy for them to hunt. My question is why is it only females that have stayed? Does anyone know? Nature is so intriguing!!
